1. What this Policy covers

This Policy covers personal data collected on the ImmiSafe platform and website (together, the “Service”). It does not cover advice delivered by independent providers under their own privacy policies.

We process personal data under one or more of these bases:

• Contract performance (providing the Service you asked us to deliver).
• Legitimate interests (fraud prevention, platform security, product improvement).

• Account & usage — sign-in, device/browser data, IP, pages viewed, actions taken.
• Application/interest data — preferences, goals, intake answers you provide.
• Documents — files you upload for matching/verification (stored securely).
• Payments metadata — payment status, receipts, disbursement events (no raw card data; our processor handles that).
• Support communications — messages, timestamps, and related metadata.

4. How we use your data

• To deliver the Service (matching, scheduling, secure document exchange, managed payments).
• To verify identity/credentials where needed and to coordinate with providers at your direction.
• To operate, secure, and improve the platform, including debugging and analytics.
• To send important notices and service updates; marketing only with appropriate consent/choices.
• To comply with law and enforce our Terms.

5. Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above—for example, for the account lifecycle, tax/legal obligations, security logs, and dispute time limits—then delete or de-identify it.

6. Security

We apply encryption in transit and at rest, least-privilege access, audit logging, and incident-response procedures appropriate to the Service. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to mitigate risks and notify where required.

7. Sharing & subprocessors

• Independent providers — with your consent, to deliver services you request.
• Vetted subprocessors — hosting, analytics, email, payment processing, file storage—under contracts with confidentiality and security obligations.
• Legal/safety — if required by law or to protect rights, safety, or security.
• No sale — we do not sell your personal information.

8. Cross-border transfers

Data may be processed in Canada and other jurisdictions by our subprocessors. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., contractual data-protection terms).

9. Children

The Service is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18.

10. Your choices & rights

• Request access, correction, deletion, or a portable copy of your data (subject to law).
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
